What is Digital Art?
Jonas "paints" the pictures on a large screen using Photoshop software. A high skill level in precision drawing is needed to create perfectly smooth and taut lines by hand. Semi-transparent "glass" like sculptural forms are created using gradient techniqes. Layers with colors and gradients are then added to create interesting compositions and juxtapositions.
The motifs are gradually developed by several rounds of adjustments. The motivation behind this method is to create original pieces of dynamic, abstract, digital art where some of the most interesting visual phenomena occur in intersections between the transparent layers.
Jonas don't use generative algorithms, stock assests or automated effects. Every line, curve and gradient is constructed manually.
The result is stunning, digital art-impossible to achieve trough traditional tools alone.
